JOSEPH N. COMISKEY joined the firm in 1958 and became President and General Manager at the death of the founder, James F. Comiskey in 1966. Joe is proficient in the investigation of Major Losses to include Commercial and Residential Losses; General Liability Claims and Municipality Liability Claims. Joe also acts as Control Adjuster for Insureds and Transport Companies with large retentions. Joe has many years of experience in the handling of Crop Losses. In 1976 he successfully completed the Boeckh Seminar on Building Loss Construction for Insurance - Commercial - Industrial - Institutional. In 1983 Joe received his LICENTIATE in Adjusting from the CIAA. In 1985 he completed a subsequent Boeckh Seminar on Building Cost Estimating. He is also a member of CIAA, Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association,
International Association of Arson Investigators. |

MATTHEW W. P. (MATT) COMISKEY joined the firm in 1993 and is General Manager. Matt has become very capable of handling all classes of claims and specializes in the investigation of Transport and Automobile Claims, Residential and Commercial Property Losses, Liability, and Municipality Liability. Matt has also attended various seminars related to Insurance Losses, including a Claims Representatives Training Course for one of the larger Companies in Canada. In 1994 Matt attended the Vale National Training Centre and Obtained his Certificate for the prescribed course in Residential Building Damage Estimating. In Addition, Matt together with the other Adjusters in our firm, act as Control Adjusters to Insureds and Transport Companies with large retentions/deductibles. His education in Journalism allows him to take a "Pure Version Statement", paying particular attention to interviewing people in their own language. |
